I ordered the hydraulic thumb for my AGT QH12. You would figure that since I own a QH12 and ordered a AGT thumb then it would fit, nope. The auxiliary hoses from the excavator are DIn 16x1.5. The hoses they sent and adaptors they sent were both 14x1.5. So off to the hydraulic shop I go. Only cost me $190 to have 2 new hoses made with the correct ends. So now I’m $600 into a hydraulic thumb that isn’t even worth $200 in my opinion.
Now the thumb itself….. watch out for the cross member towards the middle of the thumb, it will smack the heck out of your hydraulic cylinder causing a big dent in the cylinder. And the bolts they send with it don’t all fit so I’m having to go out and buy new ones.
